The pharmacy located in the Elsterpark Center in Plauen is one of the most well-known in the region. Its owner, Mr. Ikels, places high value not only on offering expert advice to his customers but also on maintaining a clean and visually appealing workspace.

As part of upgrading his IT infrastructure, Mr. Ikels chose to implement Cleankeys keyboards. These are now used by the pharmacy team at the front counters to handle customer inquiries through a merchandise management and information system.

Why did you choose to use Cleankeys keyboards?

My supplier recommended the keyboard, and once I saw it in person, I was immediately impressed by its sleek design. The aesthetic fits perfectly with the overall look and feel of my pharmacy. The glass surface combined with the white frame blends seamlessly into our interior design.

How often do you use the product?

The keyboards are installed at the counters in our sales area, so my team and I use them daily. After a brief adjustment period, I can honestly say that the CK3-15 performs better and feels faster than the traditional long-stroke keyboards I used before — at least from my personal experience.

Has the keyboard provided any added value for you?

Absolutely. Beyond the points I’ve already mentioned, I particularly appreciate the integrated touchpad functionality. I find it especially useful that the Cleankeys keyboard can be switched into a fully functional touchpad with just the press of a button.

Another unexpected benefit is the interest from customers — many of them have asked where they can buy a keyboard like this themselves, simply because of its modern and appealing design.

How do you clean the keyboards?

In my pharmacy, we clean the keyboards twice a day using disinfectant wipes. The smooth glass surface of the Cleankeys units makes the cleaning process both faster and more efficient compared to traditional keyboards.
