Cleaning and Material Resistances
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
You have opted for professional operating controls that are “Made in Germany” now that you have purchased a data input device made by GETT Gerätetechnik GmbH. We would like to support you with recommendations on how to clean the units and suitable cleaning agents so that the design and functions are maintained for as long as possible.
If you are uncertain about using your preferred cleaning agent or disinfectant, you can contact us at any time.
stainless steel
Use a soft cloth and normal cleaning agents suitable for stainless steel surfaces when cleaning our keyboards. Place a small amount of the cleaner on the dampened cloth and remove any dirt with circular movements and only slight pressure. Then wipe the cleaned surface with a damp cloth in order to remove any remaining cleaning agent. When disinfecting, we recommend that you use an alcohol-based disinfectant in line with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Never use any abrasive substances, such as steel wool or aggressive scouring agents, to remove stubborn marks. Do not use any cleaning agents containing substances that are listed as non-resistant in the following table.

glass, silicone and film
Use a soft cloth and a vinegar-based household cleaner to clean our keyboards. Exert slight pressure with the cloth, which has been soaked with the cleaner and then squeezed out, and remove any dirt with circular movements.
Do not use any cleaning agents containing substances that are listed as non-resistant in the following table.

plastic
Use a cleaning brush to clean our plastic keyboards in a dry state. You can also wet the keyboards to clean them if they have at least an IP65 degree of protection - e.g. to remove any sticky dirt. Use a cleaning brush and, if necessary, a normal cleaning agent under warm running water (max. +60°C) to clean our plastic keyboards.
Never use any abrasive substances, such as steel wool or aggressive scouring agents, to remove stubborn marks either. Do not use any cleaning agents containing substances that are listed as non-resistant in the following table.
