Optical Bonding

Optical bonding is a process used in display technology where a touch screen and/or cover glass is affixed to the TFT display. Simultaneously, the gap between these components is filled with an optically transparent adhesive or resin. This material is carefully chosen to minimize internal reflections and enhance the optical clarity of the display.

Optical bonding serves to improve the overall durability, brightness, and contrast of the display, making it a common technique employed in various electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and industrial displays.
